Tasting - Veleta Brut Vino Espumoso Rosado

Name - Veleta Brut Vino Espumoso Rosado
Variety - Tempranillo and Garnacha
Region - Grenado
Country - Spain
Year - NV
Price - $3.95

Shop review - Rose salmon with copper reflections. Slow rising fine bubbles that forms "lace" and "rosary". In the nose is complex and elegant with red fruit, citric, exotic, fresh flowers, and notes of dry fruits and dry flowers. Fresh, gentle, and alive. Perfectly integrated "perlage" with serious and subtle flavors of dry fruits, pomegranate and lemonade. Long lasting scent of flowers and herbs

My Review - This coral colored drink was effervescent in the glass. The drink smelled of flowers with a hint of clorox. At the same time there was a slight musty scent. The Brut tasted of lemonade. It has a very light and tangy flavor with a dry after taste. I would not particularly recommend it, but decent price for what it was.

I tasted this on its own with no food.
